Description
The new design of the X-Plate breakaway bases uses a 2-piece quick release system designed to reduce injury when sliding or diving into bases.Upon impact the top piece of the base disengages with the stationary bottom part allowing the top piece to break away. The bottom piece is made of a safety rubber and has sloped edges to reduce injury as players easily slide over the top.Â
The base installs into standard ground anchors with a rubber stem that attaches to the stationary bottom piece. Â
